Directors' Notes

June 7, 2004

A Regular Meting of the Board of Directors of the Danbury Area Computer Society, Inc. was held at the corporation’s Resource Center, 198 Main Street, Danbury, Connecticut, on Monday, 7 June 2004, at 7:00 p.m.

Present were Anna Collens, John Gallichotte, William Keane, Bruce Preston, James Scheef, Jeffrey Setaro, Being a Quorum.

James Scheef, President, presided. In the absence of the secretary, Lawrence Buoy, John Gallichotte was asked to keep the record of the meeting.

The minutes of the Regular Meeting of this Board held on 10 May 2004 were not available for reading.

Treasure, Charles Bovaird, who was not present had prepared the treasurer’s report and forwarded a copy to James Scheef, President. Jim reported current cash assets of $17165.03 plus postage on hand of $140.40 for a total bank and postal accounts in the amount of $17305.43. Subtracting liabilities of prepaid dues in the amount of $7362.50 resulted in a net balance of $10083.33. He also reported current membership of 393.

The sign required by the Danbury Housing Authority mentioned at last month’s board meeting was investigated and an order placed by Jim. We are currently awaiting delivery.

An announcement of the upcoming wireless networking meeting did not properly reflect that it is Bruce Preston & Jim Scheef who will be the presenters has been noted and corrected.

Attention was turned to upcoming meeting subjects and presenters were discussed without resolution.

There being no further business to come before the meeting, a motion was made and seconded to adjourn. The meeting was adjourned early.
