Planning to go to the C3 Expo show at the Javits Center? We hope so. I expect the show to be both entertaining and informative. C3 – short for Corporate & Channel Computing (www.c3expo.com) – is a revival of the old PC/Expo show of years past. The old PC/Expo was an annual opportunity to see what was new in the PC industry – not to mention a chance to escape from the office for a day. The real fun was the small booths around the edge of the show where the new small companies vied to get their ideas in front of people from corporations all over the country. DACS will be in Booth # 4437, courtesy of the show management. This will give us a “home base” at the show. Those who sign up to help staff the booth will get priority on the chairs in the booth. Staffing the booth involves handing out sample newsletters and answering questions about the club. Please don’t wait until the last minute to sign up for the booth as space is limited.
