Be sure to attend the next DACS general meeting when Dan O´Connor of Chaikin Power Tools will tell us about the Basics of Online Stock Research and Trading. Dan’s presentation will cover something we all find mysterious, how to research and select the best stocks in which to invest. Dan will help us understand fundamental and technical analysis as a means of determining when to purchase or sell shares and show us some tools that make this process easier.

The tools come from Chaikin Power Tools, Mr. O’Connor's company. These programs are available at www.chaikinpowertools.com where you can download free programs for the iPhone and a desktop “widget” for both Windows and Mac.

Dan will help us discover how to trade online as a direct investor without a broker or investment adviser and will demonstrate several online tools that can help you pick stocks. If there is anything we all need right now, it's knowing how to manage our own portfolios for maximum returns. Dan will also review some websites with great videos and educational programs to help us all learn more about investing.
