ASP.Net and C#VB.Net

These SIG's are presently closed

Contact: Chuck Fizer Meets on 1st Wednesday, 4-6 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., in a virtual meeting.

No meetings are scheduled.

The Visual Basic SIG started in 1993 about the time Microsoft released Version 4 of VB. Over the years the SIG discussed programming techniques from beginner to bleeding edge. Naturally when Microsoft released the .NET version of VB, the SIG moved to that version and expanded to include the C# language. As these programming environments expanded, the SIG expanded to four hours to allow time to explore advanced concepts

The ASP.Net focused on Web site/server application development using Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, VB, Javascript, and SQL Server programming tools, while the C#VB.Net focused on Smart Client Windows application development using Visual Studio, VB, C#, and SQL programming tools.

Virtual Meeting Instructions

dotNet and C#VBNet SIG sessions are hosted on Skype for audio and Mikogo for video. Attendees will receive a Skype call inviting you to attend. (If you think you are not on the call list, you need to call me via Skype prior to the meeting and establish a Skype connection with me. This cannot be done when the meeting is starting. Call at least 15-20 minutes before.) Just prior to the meeting, I will establish a Mikogo video session and acquire the Mikogo attendee session identifier then announce the identifier over the Skype connection. Then you access Mikogo.com and join the meeting using the session identifier provided via the Skype connection.
